Pasos del Dorado is a precision Paso Fino drill team that was formed in April 2007.  We have six to eight riders at all times and one to two alternates on the team.  Our riders are dedicated and disciplined and most of all we share the same passion, Paso Finos. Our horses are as diverse in characteristics as they are in color. Each horse and each rider brings to this team their own individual abilities that make them unique. On our team we have all levels of Paso Finos showcased from recreational to show horses. 

All of our team members are committed to doing whatever it takes to represent and promote the Paso Fino Breed and our team with dignity, respect and pride. We strive to have camaraderie with each other, to be enthusiastic and supportive of each other and our horses and to have fun while learning and conquering the challenges of new routines and maneuvers. Our expectations as a team are to be as cohesive as possible working toward synchronizing our horses. One of our goals is to perform at charity events.

We practice two times a week for two to three hours at a time. With all of us having different activities and responsibilities outside of drill team, it is crucial for us to be focused during the course of our team practices. 

Our team is coached by Carlos Tobon who was named PFHA Trainer of the Year for 2007. Carlos instills discipline and vision and has a talent for bringing out the best in both horse and rider which is essential to the success of the team. 

Our riders range in age from 13 years old to 72 years old and our horses range in age from 6 years old to 20 years old. We are sponsored by and practice at El Dorado Paso Finos of Anthony, Florida.
